Mission: To inspire meaningful connections between theory and practice in Early Childhood Education.

At the heart of quality are four essential components: Play, Attachment, Connection and Education (PACE).

Play and education are intricately linked for young children. Quality early childhood experiences must involve long stretches of uninterrupted play that is meaningful to children.  Elizabeth is a passionate supporter of loud, messy play, developmentally appropriate risk-taking, and exploration.  Young children learn best by participating in the process of play.  It is the role of adults to observe, document, and discover the individual interests and strengths of the children they are working with to help them reach optimal development and learning.

For young children to thrive, they must be securely attached and connected to their caregivers.  Positive relationships are essential for building the trust and security needed for this connection to develop. For guidance to be effective, adults must consider the communication behind behaviors, the development of young children, and the unique needs of each individual child.
