Elizabeth Richards

Elizabeth Richards is passionate about sharing research, theory and practical solutions with others in the field of Early Childhood Education. She believes that quality programs are essential for supporting young children’s optimal development.

Elizabeth is inspired by many theories and approaches to early childhood programs, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and most recently Anji Play. She is constantly learning new approaches and adapting her own practice according to the most current information that resonates with her. Elizabeth promotes lively discussion and interactive learning in her workshops.

Since 1994, Elizabeth has worked with children in a variety of settings, from infants to school-aged children and for more than a decade, Elizabeth has offered workshops for Early Childhood professionals on a wide range of topics. She is the author of two articles for Exchange Magazine, a CDA Professional Development Specialist, and continues to work directly with children as often as possible.

Elizabeth has a BS in Television/Radio production with a concentration in Advertising/Public Relations. While at first glance this degree seems unrelated to her work in Early Childhood, the communication and writing skills she learned have been invaluable to her work in the field. Elizabeth’s experiences in

the field inspired her to earn an MS in Care and Education in Early Childhood Settings with a focus on Policy and Leadership from Wheelock College in 2011.

Elizabeth founded PACE Consulting, LLC in the fall of 2019 with a mission of inspiring deep, meaningful connections between theory and practice in Early Childhood Education. She is a passionate lifelong learner, eager to discover and share new approaches and solutions to common issues in the field.
